Spaces & Traces Committee Opportunities - Committee meets the first Tuesday of every month at 5:30pm.
Committee Chair - 1–2 hours per week
is an essential role, it is the engine that drives all aspects of events.This is a great volunteer position for a project manager, or a person with managerial experience.
As Committee Chair you would:
- Visit all potential buildings with Building Selection
- Select Lecturers
- Secure agreements and completed questionnaires on time from buildings owners.
- Setting monthly meeting agendas and distributing them prior to each meeting.
- Keeping an eye on the tour timeline.
- Communicating with sub-committee between meetings.
- Delegating event responsibilities
Chair Elect - 2–4 hours per month
shadows the current committee chair with the intention of becoming the Committee Chair for the next year.
As Chair Elect you would:
- Learn the ins and outs of the tour
- Taking notes of each committee meeting and distributing them to members within two weeks
- Will commit to being the chair in the next year.
