NEW! History Boat Tours

Explore Milwaukee’s storied past from the unique perspective of the Milwaukee, Menomonee & Kinnickinnic Rivers. This 90 minute tour features entertaining and professional narration provided by Historic Milwaukee docents. Refreshments available on board.
Tours run daily at 12:00, 2:00 & 4:00 p.m.

We offer a number of Walking Tours, a Student Tour, and a Step-on Guide Service for Chartered Tours. Please note, you must book your own transportation for your chartered tour.

Every year HMI offers roughly 4 one-time tours that highlight a specific topic in Milwaukee history or a particular architectural style. These are only offered one day each year and will not be made regularly available in the future. Call Historic Milwaukee 414–277–7795 to reserve your space. Tickets available the day of the tour, space permitting.

Historic Presentations

Historic Milwaukee offers lectures and slide shows at a nominal fee for everyone from middle school students to adult education to senior living communities.
Presentations are offered year-round.
Admission is $30.00 per slide show/lecture.
