This valley could be called the cradle of Milwaukee’s early industry. It has lain almost dormant for many years and only recently been re-awakened by determined non-profit groups such as the Menomonee Valley Partners and the Friends of the Hank Aaron State Trail. Our bike tour covers approximately 3 miles at an easy pace. Bring your lunch money, we’ll stop for lunch at Palermo’s Pizza, return back to the start point is optional. Meet in the Parking Lot of the Harley-Davidson Museum, 400 W. Canal Street, North Parking garden (north west corner of 6th and canal).
Forest Home Cemetery

Since 1850 Forest Home Cemetery has been the final resting place of choice for Milwaukee’s first families. Politicians, industrialists and beer barons alike have preserved their names in stone in this beautiful cemetery.
Meet in front of the Halls of History, 2405 W. Forest Home Avenue.
